New Woodcut images

Queenstown Pines (black and white)
I printed a black and white version of
this block because I will be doing a reduction print on the color
version and I wanted to preserve the original cut state.

Queenstown Pines (unfinished)
Still working out color relationships
on this one. The mountains surrounding Queenstown, New Zealand
(South Island), are covered with pines. They are beautiful, but an
invasive species. The South Island originally only had short
scrubby trees called matagouri. These pines are located on the
Queenstown Hill Trail, which is much bigger than a hill.

Malaysian Mosaic (unfinished)
We visited the Malaysian War Memorial in Kuala Lumpur, and I was impressed by the Islamic mosaics on the floors of the pavilions. Kind of reminds me of Chutes and Ladders on drugs.
